Dr. Victor Pochat is a Brazilian board-certified plastic surgeon who graduated from medical school in 2001 (EBMSP) in his native state of Bahia.
He completed his residency training in general surgery in São Paulo (FMJ), followed by one of the most prestigious and competitive plastic surgery residency programs in Brazil at Brigadeiro Hospital, São Paulo.
In pursuit of surgical excellence, Dr. Pochat trained with some of the world’s most respected facial plastic surgeons in Brazil and the United States, including Dr. Ben Talei, Dr. Mike Nayak, Dr. Timothy Marten, Dr. Foad Nahai, Dr. Bahman Guyuron, and Dr. Toriumi. Through these experiences, he developed advanced expertise in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery, eyelid surgery, fat grafting, and skin rejuvenation.
Committed to education and the advancement of the specialty, Dr. Pochat serves as Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Federal University of Bahia and previously held the position of residency program coordinator for four years.
He holds a PhD in Surgery (rhinoplasty) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Medicine (nasal reconstruction) at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
Dr. Pochat is also an active author and international speaker, with more than 15 scientific publications and numerous presentations at national and international meetings.
He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), The Rhinoplasty Society (TRS), and the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe (RSE). He is also part of the elite surgical team at World Class Plastic Surgeons (WCPS), in Bali, Indonesia.
